Growing a social media page for a local business isn’t about going viral. It’s about showing up consistently with the right content for the right audience.

Here’s what we did for Zayana Used Cars — and the lessons any local business can apply.

The Starting Point

When I took over Zayana’s social media, the page had minimal engagement and no real content strategy. Just occasional posts with no consistency or direction.

What We Changed

1. Content Pillars We built the page around 3 content types — car showcase posts, customer delivery moments, and trust-building content like “how to check a used car before buying.” Each type served a different purpose.

2. Consistency Over Virality Posting 4–5 times a week, every week. No gaps. The algorithm rewards accounts that show up regularly.

3. Local Targeting Content was created specifically for the Kerala audience — language, tone, and references that felt familiar and trustworthy.

4. Engagement First Replying to every comment and DM quickly. This signals to the platform that the account is active and worth pushing.

The Outcome

15,000+ followers organically. More importantly — increased walk-in inquiries and direct DMs asking about specific cars.

Followers are a metric. But when the right people follow you, it turns into real business.
